An Astrology Chart for Jesus of Nazareth?

Speculation and Certainty

by Jude Cowell

These days, most astrologers are familiar with the excellent work of expert astrologer Christine Arens including her natal horoscope for Jesus of Nazareth which, based on Christine's extensive research, is set for May 29, 07 BC (sunrise), Bethlehem, Israel. 07 BC was a year of a brilliant, kingly Jupiter-Saturn Conjunction which could have functioned as the Star of Bethelem followed by the three 'Wise Men' (astrologers) to the manger of Baby Jesus.

Yet as you know, the date of the Son of God's birth upon the Earth has long been a contentious issue, or perhaps I should day, mystery, for historians, astrologers, and many others, and although I previously published one speculative horoscope at Christmas 2007, I'm not 'wed' to its accuracy. Set for April 17, 06 BC, you can view the horoscope with its 'special task'/'turning point' YOD pattern ('Finger of God') here. Yet the base of the YOD is the sextile formed by the supernatural/other realms Neptune-Pluto pair. However, as Christine points out, the outer planets should actually not be used in the chart since The Magi would not have observed or been aware of Uranus, Neptune, or Pluto. And certainly they saw no asteroids, as Christine Arens reminds us.

For until William Herschel's discovery of Uranus in 1781, (restrictive) Saturn was the known limit of our solar system. Even so, another post concerning the speculative 06 BC horoscope was published in 2018 with a few more astro-notes for the curious - and I confess to usually including the outer planets in historical horoscopes to see the hidden, unconscious influences at work. Sneaky!

So with today's post, I want to say Thank You to readers, Wish a Merry Christmas to all those who celebrate the Good News, and add a Happy New Year to everyone as well! Goodness knows, the world could use a happy year. Jude

Now in closing, here's an excerpt from a 2014 SO'W post about America's 'totem planet' Uranus for who doesn't believe that Jesus of Nazareth was a (disruptive) Uranian figure?!

Thanks to the help of sister Caroline Herschel: Discovery of Uranus March 13, 1781 "between 10 and 11 pm" according to William Herschel's account, Bath, England. At 10:30 pm LMT: ASC 11Sco43, Moon 14Sco59 rising, 1st house Jupiter @27Sco25 Rx, 2nd house Pluto 6AQ09 (discovered in 1930), IC 27AQ12, 4th house Venus @2Pis54 (sister Caroline selflessly giving her all to brother's work?), Sun 23Pis45 (the self-denying William?), 5th house planet of sight, Mercury @11Ari45, a degree that transit Uranus has so recently electrified), 6th house of Chiron @3Tau20 (conjunct the healing Centaur's discovery degree of 3Tau09, November 1, 1977), North Node of Future Destiny @5Tau08 (which puts SN rising showing the Herschels' isolation and "outstanding in his field" status), Desc 11Tau43. The 8th house of occultism and hidden things holds Uranus @24Gem27, with Gemini ruled by insightful Mercury; MC @27Leo12, The Goal Point, showing perhaps some desire for achieving prominence within the scientific community of his day, modest though he was. jc
